Eight reports on water and irrigation projects in various counties of Montana, 1920-1922.

Reports dealing with water and irrigation in eleven counties in Montana: Beaverhead, Carbon, Dawson, Gallatin, Lewis and Clark, Madison, Park, Prairie, Stillwater, Sweetwater, and Wheatland. All reports save one are stamped with J. Winter Smith's name, though not all are written by him; some were prepared by C.S. Heidel and Fred E. Buck. Three reports were done for the Montana Joint Stock Land Bank of Helena, a bank that handled farm loans as part of the U.S. Farm Loan Bureau. The reports include topographical maps, blueprint maps, and three reports also contain photographs.
